Our Approach

Patriots For Parental Equality (PFPE), is a group of concerned people: mothers, fathers, children, grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters from every walk of life.

We are Worldwide!

The problems with family courts do not stop in your county, state, or your nation.  These problems do not care about the color of your skin, the god you pray to, your sexual preference, income level,  political affiliation, or place that you call home.  These problems are in every family court on this planet!

Americans for Parental Equality (AFPE) focuses on the USA.  This group focuses on changes at the national level and acts as the umbrella organization for the state groups.

State groups include: California, Illinois, Florida, Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Texas.

There are also sub-groups that focus on major metropolitan areas, and have frequent meet-ups to discuss local topics and to encourage each other through the family court travesties.

We are passionate about advocating for equal rights of parents and for the presumption of 50/50 custody of children of divorcing parents and minor children who are subjects of a custody dispute, assuming both parents are fit and loving.

In Texas, House Bill 453, authored by State Representative James White, R-Woodville, would mandate that each parent has equal possession of the children after the marriage or relationship has been dissolved.  In effect, HB 453 would change the starting point in family courts giving both parents equal custody from the beginning.  We support this bill.

In addition to advocacy, we are committed to supporting those parents who have faced unfair treatment from the court system as the non-custodial parent.

You are not alone, YOUR story is OUR story and we stand with you!
